Dippoldiswalde (formerly Annaberg) pear-shaped Jug ca.1680 Dippoldiswalde ca.1680, H. 26 The enamelled and gilded decoration on this pear-shaped jug is enhanced by a very dark brown slip that was used to conceal the lighter reddish-brown of the stoneware beneath.
